Topics covered throughout the series include business licensing and regulation; marketing, including primary and secondary research and analyses; business taxes, tax credits and other incentives; bookkeeping; sales/business development; operations; contract and equal opportunity laws; presentation skills; business technology and e-commerce and much more.

All who wish to take part in AMI are encouraged to participate in an orientation, which will discuss course components, requirements and expectations and provide a brief description of the topics and areas covered, as well as the benefits available to clients who successfully complete the series.
When: The next AMI orientation will be October 06, 2011 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Classes are held in the WEDA office on Saturdays from 10:00am-2:30pm.
Where: The orientation will be held at the WEDA office, which is located at 1389 Peachtree Street N.E. Suite 102 , Atlanta GA 30309.

Cost: The Orientation is free.

Depending on total household income and family size, qualified individuals may be eligible for scholarships of between 30% and 50% of the total coast of tuition. Additionally, WEDA offers a convenient three-payment installment plan for those who prefer not to pay up front in full.
