Join WEDA for an informational session on building capital for your business.  The workshop hosted in partnership with the SBA Georgia District Office, Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE), and Hope Credit Services will cover ways to build and/or improve your business credit, how to position your business to acquire loans, and hte things lender evaluate when issuing loans.

ACE is a Georgia based non-profit organization that provides capital to start and grow businesses.  ACE is currently lending towards credit builder loans, start up business loans, business growth loans, equipment loans, and green loans.  This training will prepare business owners seeking business loans.

Atlanta Microenterprise Initiative (“AMI”)

AMI is a comprehensive, 9-week workshop series that helps emerging and new entrepreneurs learn how to start and manage a successful business, as well as how to determine funding needs and write a detailed business plan. Topics covered throughout the workshop series include business licensing and regulation; marketing, including primary and secondary research and analyses; business taxes, tax credits and other incentives; bookkeeping; sales/business development; operations; contract and equal employment opportunity laws; presentation skills; and business technology and e-commerce. AMI is an income-based program and new classes form three times per year.
